San Francisco, CA/March 2017 – Wipeout Bar & Grill on PIER 39 in San Francisco has announced that the restaurant is a major sponsor of the 2017 San Francisco Police Athletic League Youth Fishing Program (http://sanfranciscopolice.org/sf-police-youth-fishing-program). In addition to their financial support, Wipeout will be providing lunch to the participants.
This program involves charter fishing boat excursions with off duty police officers sharing the day with Bay Area boys and girls. The program was established in 1968 and has helped 130,00 young people learn to fish and to enjoy the natural beauty and resources of the San Francisco Bay and the coastal Pacific Ocean. For 2017, there are currently eight sailing dates scheduled from April through August.
